The Landscape
The landscape of the surrounding nature is under the supervision of the Kwidzyn Forest District. In the vicinity of the facility there is the Kwidzyńskie Ostnice reserve and the Dendrological Garden, with over 150 species of trees and shrubs from Europe, Asia and North America.
It is best to get to know the specificity of the area up close, enjoying various forms of active recreation. Unhurried bike tours are an opportunity to admire the picturesque landscapes. For enthusiasts of walks, marches with poles and runners, we recommend specially marked out paths.
In a wintertime, it is possible to organize a sleigh ride, and in spring, summer and autumn - carriage rides!
Trips
For enthusiasts of historical trips, we recommend visiting the 14th-century gothic monuments – the castle and the co-cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Kwidzyn. It is a welcome stop when traveling along the trail of Pomeranian Teutonic castles.
